With all the song and dance going on about North Melb heading to the Gold coast a small news snippet got me wondering.
The Saints walked away from a deal to play some games in Tassie claiming they had the money and strutures in place and didn't need to sell any of their games. They allowed the Dawks to take the four games and big dollars for themselves.
Eddie started singing and dancing about moving the Scums away games to the coast, for a suitable fee and marketing rights and all of a sudden there was a rumble from the Aints that maybe they would be able to help fill the gap left by North staying home.
I'm pretty sure the Saints lost one if not two of their major sponsors at the end of this season and can't recall hearing anything from the new board as to signing up new deals.
Does any one have any news or whispers on this? I just get a sneaky feeling in my bones that there's a couple of unexpected speed humps coming there way for 08.
