Did Tambling sign a 3yr deal?

Tambling looks like he has the goods to me. When he goes in he goes hard, is very very quick, a strong leap and mark, and has composure. With a couple of years more of experience I think he will be a great player.

Not sure if its been mentioned but did any one notice Bling put his body on the line with Staf comin the other way ,the other day,I thought it was fantastic and he got straight up an may have realised you dont get hurt :clap He then went on to play a better 2nd half I thought an seemed with a lot more confidence, that little incident may just have a big impact on the boy

I remember seeing Blings first game - the Wiz cup against the pies last year.  He may have been playing on adrenaline but he blitzed in terms of pace - also on two occassions took two huge marks backing into players - on one occassion got crunched by one or more of the hillbilly clokes before and after he landed - he then had a history of back related hamstring tightness for a while.  I also saw the practice game against the Lions last year just before round one and again he blitzed in terms of pace before injuring himself and then he got crunched just before round one in training by Tuck which again twinged his back.

The purpose of the above is that I think Richie might feel or have learned at this stage of his career that his naturally courageous attack on the ball - combined with his light frame can lead to injuries and needs to be tempered.  He looks like he has been told to use his judgement more and he hasn't got it right yet.  I think that as soon as Richie becomes more confident that his body is prepared for the rigours of AFL - you will see a different more dynamic Tambling and on the glimpses he showed against the pies - he could be unstoppable!

if tambling had have kicked straight on Saturday he would have kicked 5 goals - not too many other Richmond players that are capable of getting in scoring positions 5 times in a match

Gram's first 3 goals were kicked on Tucky - Polo played on Harvey
Tuck was moved off gram on to wing and his new opponent kicked the next goal
In defence of Tuck - Gram's goals were largely caused by errors of other Richmond players

Yep he played on gramm (spelling?) today and hopefully learnt a good lesson on football. I wouldnt be too quick to sign him up - too many times have we signed players up without thinking of their overall skills. This is one classic one. You can come onto the scene with a big bang but the RFC wants players that will last the distance. I have grave doubts about Polo but time will tell.

Deledio had Gram for at least two of his four goals, Tuby. (Probably three of em.)

Each of our promising 19yos made some disposal errors on the day and may have been encouraged to take some chances by the coach.

One thing about Polo- you usually can tell who he's on.

It was hard to tell who was on Gram though. Obviously has bad breath. To be fair to Lids he was probably given some licence by the coach.

Bling did okay, I thought. Was getting his hands dirty, Hasn't shown the confidence to do this at senior level as a rule but had a go. That was a nice grab in the square.

Looked like a turning point in Tambling's early career to me. Took a step.

Meyer can do that next.

imho i think polo will be as good, if not better than deledio, i rate him big time. he's mercurial.
