Didak knee injury

Jools said:
Didak will probably only miss the preseason, as it was a partial tear of his ACL and he doesn't require a full reconstruction. He's hoping to be ready for round 1 next year.

No he wont!!

Still a reconstruction with re suturing of the ligament in the knee.

Will miss at best half a season, ligaments and tendons take a long long time to re knit and then strengthen unlike muscle tissue.

Didak will be missing for a while regardless.

Interesting, and I'm sure someone will correct me if this is wrong but I don't believe ch 9 ran the story - certainly not a full piece like the other channels. Make of that what you will.

Just hear don the news that he will require a partial reconstruction that will most likely just make him miss most of the pre-season. He said he's hopeful to be ready for rnd 1.

I will be surprised if he is ready for round one after having half of his ACL stitched back together.

My opinion just a positive spin on a potentially negative story.

Like Hamill earlier in the year, did his knee trying to lay his knee into another player to cause injury, rather than going for the ball... KARMA is right :ner

I took it from an article quoting Didak. A partial tear doesn't take as long to recover from.

There are conflicting reports depending on which paper you read or which channel you watch. I'll have more faith in what the surgeon has to say after he's done the operation.
