Dirty Laundry

Here, here!

This mob have brought it all on themselves and I am enjoying the melodrama.

Maybe this is where the AFL wants Carlton...at their mercy.

Then the AFL can offer them a rescue package with strings (rope) attached.

Move to Canberra (retaining their CFC logo) and become the Cheetahs (Cheaters).

While it thrills me no end the happenings down at Carlton land, I just wish we didn't have them in round one. Despite having been appalling the past few years, they have (from memory) played OK in the first few rounds each year, that is, been competitive and even won a few.

With the shambles of late '06 and almost inevitably early '07, I am concerned the playing group might be fired up to write the off-field wrongs in the first round.

I'd also be concerned at what could happen on this site if the unthinkable did happen and they whipped us in round one.

Strewth, it isn't even the end of 2006 and you've already written the Tiges off for the first H & A game for 2007...................merry Christmas.

The rot set in when they decided to cheat their way to a premiership; serves them bloody right. Strange though that a proud club with a culture for sucess like them cant pull themselves together. I guess its happened to other clubs closer to home.

To make up for our appalling starts to the season recently, and given the relative quality our lists we should easily account for Carlton rnd 1.
