Sorry guys, usually try not to post negativity. More than happy to read it posted by others here, but my therapist tells me it's good for my anger management so I put this together.......

Police and paramedics were called to Birrarung Marr last night when a man was found dazed and confused and unable to accurately describe what had happened to him. “It appears that robbery may be the motive as the victim has continually referred to ‘theft’ during questioning,” a police officer at the scene stated. “At this stage we’re not sure exactly what was stolen. Our victim just refers in a dazed state to ‘Adult 17, $296’, but the description doesn’t match witness descriptions.”
Emergency services were called to the scene, just west of the MCG walkway at around 10.30pm when passers by noticed a middle-aged male ranting in an incoherent manner and seemingly unaware of what year it was. “When I approached the man, he was just agitated and saying, ‘it could be 2006, 2005, 2004, nothings changed’ ”, a witness who did not want to be named told us. “When I asked him whether he was alright, he just said ‘bring back Tiva and Heidi’, the poor man may have lost family, I just felt so sorry for him.”
When paramedics finally arrived on the scene there appeared to be no apparent physical damage but the man was clearly in distress, officers say. “I asked him whether he would like anything to relieve the pain and he just turned to the police officers and asked to be locked up in a cell with no television until the culprits were found,” one paramedic explained. “He was clearly still distressed and in a deep state of trauma induced confusion.”
Police believe that organised gangs may be involved as the victim referred to “the f**k wits who coach these guys and then just sit back and watch everything unfold without doing anything”. It also appeared that the attack happened in clear public viewing as many witnesses have subsequently come forward to provide police the following description of the attackers – young (18 to 30ish), athletic build, anywhere between 178 and 205cm, of limited intellect, undisciplined, insipid and lacking character. Eye witnesses also described that a number of attackers appeared to wear gang colours with all described to be wearing a sleeveless black shirt with some yellow markings. Police are close to dismissing the idea that it may be a gang as “there appeared to be absolutely no evidence of coordination or teamwork involved in the attack. It appeared from witnesses close to the scene to be every man for himself.”
Police have also discounted some clearly distressed witnesses who described seeing several men in red shirts with white numbers being central to the attack. A senior police officer adding, “some times witnesses are so stressed by what they see that they look to lay blame on easy targets.”
If anyone has any further information or knows anyone fitting the description of the attackers, please contact Crimestoppers IMMEDIATELY on 1800 333 000. “This appears to be one of the most savage we’ve seen in recent times and we need to find the culprits,” the senior police officer said.
