Given the impact poor finishing has, on the scoreboard and potentially the morale of the team depending how mentally tough they are - where do you think we are in general with the goalkicking? I've had a go at putting the list into 4 categories (haven't looked at any stats). I'm taking this across, both set shots and in play. Not sure if enough of our key forwards are really good shots for goal - and this is going to cost us games we should win (and percentage) Clinical finishing, aka Matty Lloyd, Dunstall and even Paul Hudson (except for in the tiger guernsey), helped their teams win games even when they weren't dominant in general play.

Good
Jay Schulz
Andrew Krakouer - but very poor today
Kayne Pettifer
Darren Gaspar - when he goes forward, doesn't seem to miss
Andrew Kellaway - doesn't go forward much, but kicks them most times
Chris Hyde - has taken a lot of his chances this year

Average
Nathan G Brown - misses too many set shots, great in general play
Brett Deledio - has dissapointed this year, would have ranked higher on last year
Ray Hall
Joel Bowden
Mark Chaffey
Brent Hartigan
Daniel Jackson
Trent Knobel
Chris Newman
Dean Polo
David Rodan
Greg Stafford
Shane Tuck

Unreliable
Matthew Richardson
Patrick Bowden
Mark Coughlan
Troy Simmonds
Richard Tambling
Greg Tivendale
Kane Johnson

Too Early To Tell/Not Sure
Travis Casserly
Nathan Foley - doesn't kick it far enough
Cleve Hughes - big hopes for this bloke
Dean Limbach
Luke McGuane
Danny Meyer - average on this year
Kelvin Moore
Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls - look to be heading to the unreliable box
Adam Pattison
Andrew Raines
Thomas Roach
Will Thursfield
Matthew White
Angus Graham
Cameron Howat
Jeremy Humm

A bit harsh on Stafford and Simmonds there, RM. Also I'd have Tuck in with the unreliables.

G:BF - ratio of goals to behinds for (we are 16th)
G:BA - ratio of goals to behinds against (we are 12th)
WLSS - wins with less scoring shots
LMSS - losses with more scoring shots
AG - average number of goalkickers per match (we are 15th).

Of course the better sides are generally able to get shots from better positions (less angle, closer to goal) and under less pressure, so read into them what you will.
