Do we manifest our own failure?

Hungry said:
NO, Tiger supporters do NOT manifest their own failure and I resent the idea - especially after shelling out for my membership in tough economic times, and extra for a seat to watch that rubbish the other night.

It's not the supporters who constantly overlook the best tall players at the draft table (hello Buddy, Roughie and Pav)
It's not the supporters who dismally failed to draft rucks four and five years ago
Or who decided to take JON in front of Hurn, Higgins, Jones, Birchall and so on
Or who decided 3 picks in the 2005 and 2007 drafts were enough
Or who traded away the opportunity for 3 top 20 picks in 2007
Or who failed to land a "name" in the pre-season draft after two wooden spoons, 2004 & 07
Or who squandered latish picks on Mark Graham and Paddy Bowden, no longer at the club
Or who thought for one second that Kent Kingsley was a player
Or who routinely overlook kicking skills
Or who play McMahon and Edwards in the same backline (didn't know Giesch was back coaching)
Or who treat tackling, shepherding, blocking and smothering as optional
Or who fail to properly manage a 30 year old's comeback game by giving him too much time on the ground...

The supporters are the best thing this club has going for it. Hear the roar in the first quarter last Thursday? Case closed.

This belongs on the "Gold Posts" thread!! :clap
