A few years back, the Cats lost to Carlton at Optus Oval when Carlton couldn't beat an under 10's side.

Everyone was calling for Costa and Thompson to resign.

Hopefully, we are currently at that stage where once the winning streak starts, it will lead to self confidence and a Premiership.

ahh lambswool. the coasters under worsfold 02 to 07 have made the finals every yr with a list full of talls and with a basic 3 3 2 big man structure on game day. this wont change. geelongs structure is similar. so is most sides. for what its worth i think the coasters will make the 8.

what has happened at wce is they have not the depth to cover the loss of judd and cousins. in the last 2 yrs they have added priddis mcnamarra ebert masten selwood and mcginnity all pretty much inside and ball winners. this draft coming a ruckman and some quick mids will be on the menu.
unlike us wce have the horse before the cart in recent drafts they have taken brown mackenzie sphanger notte kennedy sullivan thompson and wilson they are there to replace established solid players in glass hunter cox hansen lynch seaby. imo all of hansen staker graham jones and wilkes are on thin ice. with a super draft coming i wouldnt be surprised to see all of these blokes offered around for picks. wce can afford to do this because they go the right way about list management.

nisbett himself said without judd and cousins its time to kickout the older unskilled types and play the kids they are in a position to do this without to much long term pain.

but of course you are leading up to saying wce won a premiership on the back of 2 players.just like people say nm won premierships on the back of carey. its just silly talk.only well rounded teams win premierships.

Maybe one day one of your ludicrous predictions will come true. Doubt it though.
