I know there are threads about the game tonight, but i just wanted to know opinions of what we tiger supporters are thinking.

I believe this to be the biggest game in many years fot the club.

My reasons are these.

1) the biggest crowd the players have played in front

2) t.v audience watching us and how we handle the pressure and emotion

3) massive impetus for next year

4) our young kids we learn so much from this game win, lose (no draw thanks).

I hope we make a good account of ourselves. A win is a must. We have probably the youngest list out there tonight and IF we LOST i just want it to be a great game for all us supporters watching or at the game live. I want the players to not give an inch and to give as good as we get cause i am certain that Sheeds will try to unsettle the kids.

Lets win , lets all cheer either watching the tigers live or on t.v

GO THE TIGERS

I think its going to be a great spectacle in perfect conditions. Good luck Kevin and James but better luck to the Tigers!!

It's going to be a great spectacle and a hopefully a great game. I want a win but I won't be jumping off a cliff if we lose. It would be great for the kids to triumph but in the long term scheme of things it really doesn't mean a hell of a lot. One match in a season where you end up with the wooden spoon? Personally I'd prefer to forget 2007 and not have something to remember it by.

It would be nice to spoil the party though. How sooky do you reckon Lloyd would be? Hird is going to cry no matter what, Sheedy will take it on the chin win lose or draw.

I just hope the boys learn a fair bit about pressure and the big stage and I hope it ignites a bit of passion and desire because it will be a finals atmosphere no doubt about it.

I hope for a good contest, great opportunity for the kids, will be interesting to see how Browny goes because this is the sort of game he has been crying out for since coming from the Dogs, and the weather, although not as nice as they predicted, should be good if it doesn't get any colder.

Agree. We need to stand up and if possible make sure the game goes down to the absolute wire to give the huge audience a thrill. A nice tight contest, preferably without ugliness.

So someome please stop King from going the smack on Hird (one for the road so to speak). He'll start a riot. ;D :police:

The last 3 times we have played Essendon the margins have been 8 points, 16 points and 2 points. A game with a similar margin would be fantastic, as long as we are the ones in front.

The club is very lucky to be fixured on Sheedy & Hird's milestone in Victoria.

An awesome event to be involved in as a player and as a spectator, making history.

Agree, big test for our players today.

In my eyes its a big game for our players.

To us Fans and themselves.

The manner in which they play todays game will SHOW us a lot IMO.

ITS a big game - anything less than them coming out fired up for a win will dissapoint me.

The TIGERS play for us today.

I just see this as another chance for our kids to play in front of a big crowd. This is the Bombers party, not ours.

That being said, I hope we gatecrash it, and send their feral, arrogant, over-opinionated supporters home crying in their Lite beer.

That would be pretty good if he did. :)

It will provide inavaluable experience to the young guys who need the exposure to big game experience. The Collingwood game a couple of weeks ago was a good stepping stone.
