Does anyone know who is out of contract now in the AFL?

The last time we had no 1 pick in the pre-season draft, players were throwing themselves at their clubs contracts.

One guy re-signed for a one year deal playing for food

That was Lance Whitnall wasn't it?

:rofl that was the first name I thought of too. There was a clause in the food clause that stated food consumption had to be within reason.

We are not going to get a thing in the PSD...

What a joke.

Haven't you been reading the threads? Judd is going to fall through to PSD, just after the magician pulls a wabbit out of the hat.

No chance of any wabbits this year.. the bloody great wall keeps them out :hihi

PSD - WHO'S LEFT?

Guys and gals. Who is left for the PSD? There don't seem to be many choices left!

We really dont know who is available yet. The lists have not been finalised. This wont happen until after trade week.

Yes, in fact, after the trade period players are sometimes asked to drop salaries, or find that they can't be left with new pressures on salary cap. Look to some big name cats to be in contract negotiations once the champers goes flat and players look at the property market with sober eyes.

FOR the second time in a week Geelong confronts a choice between ruckmen but this time the choice is over who it wants for the next flag, not who could win it the last.

Overlooked young ruckman Mark Blake met with the club this week to discuss next year and beyond and is spending the next week deciding if his future is still at Kardinia Park.......

....Likewise Blake will have no difficulty finding a suitor, with a complicating factor in both players' contracts being that Richmond and Carlton are among clubs keenest to recruit a ruck and they hold picks one and two in the pre-season draft

I suppose that Geelong will end up keeping both, but the possibility of getting Blake is there.

Hmmph, the swear filter doesn't like that link. It's on this page.

A few that I think haven't re-signed for the Lions are

Drummond, Roe and Stiller.

I would have thought the Lions would keep all of those players.

Not sure how correct this is, read it somewhere.

Drummond interests.
