Does Bowden deserve his chance now?

So Jackson's inclusion would have contributed more to getting us the 4 pts than Bowden Clawser...
no we have to do better than the jacksons of this world also.

I find it far too much of a coincidence that the side has lifted and continued it's form since Joel was dropped
Until there is a glaring ommission required from a bad loss he should remain at Coburg

I'm going to shower and scrub myself with steel wool now to get rid of the filthy feeling from agreeing with Claw

I agree with that but if he comes into the fwd line he's in a completely different role.

Wouldn't we be better off getting games up forward into young guys like Hughes, Cotchin or even Connors?
I dunno about this reinvention of Bowden stuff, just seems a little short sighted at this point, even if it turns out terrifically.

He would still be the same Bowden...soft....lazy....lost. Instead of a direct forward movement with Bowden in the forward line we will see us move backwards at a more alrming rate. Bowden is bests erved by staying at Bell St. He has had his day and its time people moved on. Yes he was this and he was that by NOW he is past it and its no coincidence of the forward movement in the side, the more assured defence, the harder working and less dithering.

Good bye Joel!

Yes. There are clearly political overones in the situation Joel finds himself in. Methinks TW has worked out that time is not on his side and that he needed to take complete control, maybe for the first time, and eradicate the last of those players who wanted to run the show/think they're above the coach.

About time - for whatever shortcomings the team has now, and there are clearly many, both in terms of team structure, decision making in play and skill execution, at least for the main part they are delivering genuine intent and willingness to do the hard things.
