In the final qtr our forwards were not able to capitalise on the forward opportunities. They were not composed enough to take their opportunities. Does J Bowden now deserve the opportunity to be the 3rd tall in the fwd line?
We could dump Newman (who clearly cost the team goals with his defensive skills) shift Hyde back to play a shut down HB role (or bring in someone who can do that well) and the HF spot opens up.
Does the past club champion deserve a chance or do you give the opportunity to Cleve, Petts?
I think we have to give JB a chance up forward. If it doesn't work out....... so be it, he retires or is traded for a 3rd rounder but I feel we could have done with an experienced steady head in the FWD line late in that last qtr.
