I'd love him to be captain, probably never happen, but geez it'd be great. Name any other player who at age 33 could do what he's currently doing.

Yeah, I put $20 each way on him last week at Sportsbet at 300/1. This week he's into 100/1 so it should be fun to see how many votes he gets in a team that may actually win some games. Stupid umps never notice his turnovers but always remember the marks, goals, crazy plays, goal celebrations and the Richo chants coming from the crowd! I reckon he would have atleast about 6 votes by now maybe as much as 8. Big advantage for him is opposing coaches will not man him up when he is up the ground cos' they feel he can't hurt them much offensively but he will take a lot of defensive marks on top of his usual goals when he moves up forward. As for being captain, nope, you can't have a captain - no way!

I have seen Richo play (in person, not TV) most weeks for the past 7-8 years. I don't remember him in better form during that time than he is at present.

I'd be interested in the perspective of those who have seen him play week in-week out thrugh his career - how does his current form compare to his form throughout his career??
