Does the Richmond F.C have bad Karma?

A mate of mine, who only started following footy about 5 years ago, read up on RFC to help him learn a bit of the culture and history. He told me about three years ago, that he read somewhere, (cant remember where) that there was an aboriginal curse put on the club by an elder back in 1981. Cant remember exactly why, but it was in a Richmond Published book.

Make of that what you will.

Let's find that aboriginal and get Krak and Tambling to ask him nicely to please lift it. I dont know how many more years of suffering I can take.

How long has this Tiger Skin been at the club?has it really been doom and gloom since its been at the club.
If the dates do mirror our misery, well I am sold, get rid of it, put it on ebay.

There was a 10 year aboriginal course put on Collingwood.

In richmonds case, we can use poor judgement of players and inept off field management.

It's a bloody even competition - theres a draft each yeah and has been for the last what? 15+ years, yet we have failed to use it to build a list.

Thats not karma. That is ineptness.

How many proactive players who could create or change the game with skill and poise have we recruited? Most of our latter day champions have been hard toilers. The kellaways, gales, campbells - Have never ever been in the games elite bracket.

We have never had a list with proactive players, they have all been *smile*ing reactive and it *smile*ing pisses me off.

But yeah, imagine that we're cursed if it makes you feel better. Placebo's are a great thing.

blame the tiger skin

Definitely the tiger skin. ;D

I was wondering when someone would remember the cursed tiger skin. Until it goes to the tip or gets eaten by moths, we are cactus.

Somehow, I just knew Andy would bring it to light again. That skin has a lot to answer for!! It has woken again for the 2006 season.

There you go. Nothing to do with players lack of skill, application, dedication, coaching, the D word, management , board, or anything else, it is the, dare I say it again, THE SKIN.

LMAO. Harsh but totally fair.

I think the problem is they don't eat fish on Good Friday any more, and do not respect their religion and go out and eat meat.

I think Tommy had then on the straight & narrow.
