Don't Stress - We will make the 8 in 2008

We are very unlikely to get into the eight this year.
We will finish with 46 points if we beat Freo and Melb.
ST KILLED NO ONE has 44 points and plays ADEL and ESS. They should win one and finish on 48 points. It is possible that these losers will drop both games but given our luck it is unlikely.
COLLYWOBBLERS FOREVER has 44 points and plays SYD and FREO. They should beat FREO and finish on on 48 points.

9th place looks good for 2008 and springboards us into 2009 after an enthusiastic pre-season.

Why is it that the supporter of all things Richmond is happy to slag off Patrick Bowden?

You're a delusional plonker with a poor grasp of reality and a firm grasp on yourself.

Get fair dinkum Rainsy. We're massive odds to make it. Despite a great, and completely unexpected win today, we still need St.Kilda or Collingwood to lose both games. And we also need Brisbane to lose at least one. Can't see it happening. And even if it did, I have no doubt that RFC in it's inimitable fashion will go in to the last game of the year against Melbourne needing to win to make the 8 and completely *smile* it up.
Yep...can see that round 22 scenario also.

Just hope that this year does provide the springboard for next. Most times in the past it has been a highpoint before plummeting back down to the bottom again. Law of averages must fall in our favour eventually.

yeah fair enough Riddles...might have gone off a bit early...other games results didn't help.
I'm sure we will win our 2 games...I believe the Crows are playing better than the Saints and will beat them next week...which leaves us barracking for Matty Knights and the Bombers to get us in...on the last game of the season 4.40pm game.

I can't see the Pies dropping both games...but the Swans and Freo away are no gimmies.

I can't see the Lions beating the Swans in Round 22 away.

So fingers crossed we can make it.

TIGES need to win both their games against Fremantle and Melbourne
Then either the Pies and Saints lose both their games.
Pies play – Sydney (home) Fremantle (away)
Saints play – Crows (home) Essendon (home)
Tiges also need the Lions to lose one of their remaining 2 games.
Lions play – Carlton (home) Sydney (away)

All in all…happy with the Tiges year…wooden spoon and 3 wins last year…to a possible 11 wins and a draw this year.

The future is so promising.
