Don't tell me Richo doesn't bleed Yellow and Black

I will be gutted when he hangs 'em up. If I'm still over in the U.K then I will definitely fly back for his last game and I wont be embarrassed to shed a tear. I love the guy.

Just shows how good a mark he is considering he's been double/triple teamed for much of his career.

Loewe & Carey were IMO as good a contested marks but certainly not better than Richo in the air.

Totally agree ToO, ive said many times if a richo was in that brissie side he would have aker, lappin, black and voss kicking the ball right on his chest time after time.

On Lloyd imagine if he played in the richmond side in the mid to late 90's and early 2000's he would be pulling his hair out.
Had great ball careers at essendon with misiti, long, Mercuri and hird and a few others hitting handbag Lloyd with pin point passes.

I love Richo, [in a manly sort of way of coursse] & I will be really sad the day he retires. No other Tigers player has had the same sort of passion for the Club that he shows. I have had many an argument with supporters of other clubs re his passion. Most of them only look at the "displays of annoyance" not the reasons for it. As has been stated elsewhere on this thread re the deplorable wat the ball has been delived to him throughout his career at Tigerland.
Imagine how sooky lah lah Lloyd would be if he had had to put up with the cr@p passes that Richo has had to endure. I'm Lloyds velvet undies would be well & truly soiled

I wrote this a while back.

It's gonna be a sad, sad day when I hear Richo is to hang up the boots. I understand the calls that it should be sooner rather than later for team development etc., but I believe anyone with a Tiger heart as big as his is irreplaceable.

I really hope he gets to captain the club for at least a season. If he 'deserved' the B&F last year (personally I thought it should've gone to Foley but that's another thread), then he certainly deserves to be called Skipper.

I love Richo. I always have and I always will.

However, I'm starting to wonder if we can progress with him in the team. For the longest time I've believed his heart was big enough to carry the club - now I think his heart may be too big for the club.

It's the chicken and the egg syndrome - has Richo been unlucky to play in poor sides, or is he one of the reasons we have been a poor side? Not because of his ability or heart, but because of what he does to the team structure.

What the answer is I don't know.

All I do know is, is that something has to change at Tigerland - and it needs to be drastic.

It might be Richo.

You're a Londoner Freezer. Should we compare him to Thierry Henry at Arsenal?

That's probably a very good analogy NYT. We may have one or two Adebayor's waiting in the wings. The way things are at the moment, there's no way of finding out.

I've just come to from hitting my head when I fell off my chair at the thought of us having 2 Adebayor's in the wings.
