PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

For 2006 anyway. The tough draw next year may be a blessing in disguise.Don't get me wrong would love to see the tiges surprise us all by playing in the finals but realistically we may need to dip into the draft one more time before making a sustained rise up the ladder and be a power side for 4-5 years.
Looking at the geelong, eagles, saints and the rising doggies model we need to stay lowish and build a pool of good kids.(which i think we.re already doing)
I'll be happy to see any of patto, shultz polo, rodan, jacko raines and meyer get some serious game and be holding a spot in the team.Be nice to see limbach and mcguane mature body wise and starting to push 4 a game late in season.
Got a positive feeling about the latest batch, but will be good to see them develop their bodies at coburg and come along without being pushed.
Without getting to carried away i believe we've got the best batch of kids for 25years, we've just got to be patient, and let em come thru when their ready. We all know success will come its a matter of when their ready.
The key will be lots of rookies, and pensioning off surplus players 4 earlier picks.
