Draft picks

The draft order as it stands:

1. Bulldogs (priority)
2. Carlton (priority)
3. Melbourne (priority)
4. Bulldogs
5. Melbourne
6. Geelong
7. Richmond

Other picks - 22, 38, 54, 70,....

As Melbourne has 5 wins if they beat Sydney this weekend they lose their priority pick.
If Geelong beats the Saints and we lose to the Hawks we go above them on the pecking order.

With the Cats winning today we currently have moved "up" to pick 6 in the draft.

Are you sure we've moved to pick 6 ?

With the bottom 3 teams winning 5 games or less, doesnt that give them a priority pick each ?

Carlton will get a priority pick, but they are still under the ban handed down for the salary cap cheating, therefore they will only get the priority pick, where as the other two teams in the bottom 3 will get both the priority pick as well as a normal pick

As FTC said nwonash, Carlton had their first and second picks taken away from them for cheating on the salary cap. So they only get a priority pick.

As it stands tonight (if we win tomorrow Geelong and us swap places).

1. Bulldogs (p)
2. Carlton (p)
3. Melbourne (p)
4. Bulldogs
5. Melbourne
6. Richmond
7. Geelong
