Not sure if this has been covered already or not, but........
Many here are critical that we did not draft key position players in the last two drafts.
As I understand it, Miller is on record as naming several talls that we would have drafted last year if they were still available come our first pick, but they were gone, and to their credit they did not settle for second best.
It seems to me that Wallace has been a step ahead of other teams regarding the evolution of how football is going to be played and the type of player to play it.
Wallace has drafted for this for the last two drafts.
It also then seems to me that other teams are now in catch up and will be looking for the pacy midfielders this year, which may well mean that we can have a real crack at a couple of quality kpp in what is said to be a very deep draft pool.
It's a theory anyway......
