Dream Team Game [Merged]

I think that Axel did well to get that far. To be honest, I think the Victorian Second XVIII is about where he sits as a player right now.

That is a huge compliment to be in that elite company, but you couldn’t expect him to be in the first midfield alongside players like Judd, Bartel, Mitchell, Boomer Harvey and Power.

Great effort to get that far!

nice try but foley plays against these guys week in week out and more often then not comes out on top

My post yesterday about foley not playing, was straight from the UNeducated source of 'The Footy Show'... about half an hour after i posted that they decided to say it wasnt official and it was just what Crawf, Lloyd and Cornes "thought"

For Scott Pendlebury, the worst footballer ever to defraud the pay office, to get a game ahead of Sewell is insanity.

Given that J.Brown is carrying something or hopelessly out of form there is really only one KPP worth two bob on the Vic side and that is Scarlo. Let's hope Brown gets a sting. Several.

Croad on Mooney is pretty much an indictment of the game.

Kirk on the bench? There is not a midfielder on the park that is fit to clean his boots. Not one of them would remeber what a footy looks like after ten minutes on him. Alan Scott was pretty right. Choco needed plenty of luck to get one over the line with a team that won three minor premierships. Idiot. Thinks he's an aesthete.

Which brings me to Daniel Motlop. WTF? Wouldn't get a game for any club except Port and now in a dream team. Alan Scott, you were stiff.

And one more thing if Boomer kicks five Choco is officially a nuffer. Or Power four. These blokes are so far and away the best small forwards in the game it's not funny. Do you reckon Choco knows that?

If Thompson can coach they'll have five between them before half time.

And Choco picks Peter and Shaun Burgoyne and leaves Daniel Cross out. Does Williams have any idea how bad Port Adelaide are?

If he'd picked the right squad he'd have been unbeatable. And he could have exposed the Vic midfield. Instead he plays into their hands with midfield minge. He'll tag and scrag? What with his fingernails?

Back to the Vics.

Midfield riches. KPP poverty. This is the best lab you'll ever see for the value of one over the other. Thomson knows about inside play and heavy structure. If he can't get a yelp out of the half fit Brown and if Fevola can't get the requisite silver service he should be able to cadge goals from play, particularly early.

Brown has to compete in the air and clear some leather to his runners. Croad, mercifully, only has to beat Mooney. Not sure Scarlo is the right match for Flankling. I prefer C.Brown.

WTF is that filthy impostor Jared Waite doing in the side? Keeping Pendlebury company? FXS. Somebody just kill me please. I can't take it any more. Can you believe these selectors get paid while geniuses like the rank and file of footy starve?

Anyways. Really looking forward to the game.

I am glad you got in first Jack as I didn't want to seem like a whinger but Waite- Geeze louise!!! Played in a backline that had 100 points plus kicked against them 23 weeks running, is loose, is easliy distracted - is in the words of an esteemed poster - a leper - unbelievable.

Croad agree- Mooney agree.

Thought Sewell was stiff - not as harsh on Penblebury as your kind self but he is only just plodding ATM.

Although many will disagree I also think Campbell Brown is vastly overrated - Is he a short tall who gets bags kicked on him by your Bradshaws etc or is he a small who cant kick - has a red hot go but is blessed by circumstances for mine.

Both sides seem to have their fair share of 'good ordinary players'!!
