Today's performance will not help the attendance for dreamtime.

If we had won I would have said 80K. After such a disappointing performance, I am thinking 60K, with maybe about 5K Richmond supporters left by the end of the game.

I think we will get belted by 70pts against the bombers.

WOW!. Way off Pandaboy. ::)

You sure you're a Tiger?

Re: 83,563

They were definitely quiet. Even when they were coming back and you would expect the Essendon chant to go around the ground (like ours does in similar situations), we were louder.

Re: 83,563

I gotta say that the whole night was sensational. I really can't stand essendon.

Like I always say to any Collingwood, Carlton & essendon supporter, Richmond is a bigger club.

Re: 83,563

Gwad we have great supporters, 80 thousand comming off a loss and a team that's lost more than it's won. Nice one Balum

Thats a fantastic crowd under any and all circumstances ............

Congrats to all those from in here that helped make up that number..............

You got to witness a memorable one for your trouble, no doubt.

Exactly.
We just gave them all a thirty year headstart.

The actual crowd figure was incorrectly inflated by two. I went to the game with Streak junior, and we initially got in with our RFC memberships. But then a cousin of mine rocked up with AFL Members Reserve seats, so we met him outside the ground, and went back in under those.

I predict there were min 20k non supporting patrons.

You mean "estimate"!

How can you "predict" AFTER the fact??!!

Plus how can you guesstimate 20K? Did you count them?

More like 10k neutrals tops.

A bigger indication of how big these two clubs drawing power is, will be in Round 16 when we meet again.

Providing both clubs are still in or around the 8.

Also in any big game of footy (esp involving the "Big Four"), you will always get your fair share of neutrals.
