Another astute purchase by Dusty, he's got a spare bedroom for me too :)

"Richmond superstar Dustin Martin has made another sharp move in the Melbourne property market, quietly picking up a luxury beachfront apartment.
Martin, who has made significant investments in commercial property in recent years, has dropped $1.7m on a two-bedroom Port Melbourne pad with commanding views of Port Phillip Bay.

The property was sold off market in April and features central living and dining areas that open on to a sweeping terrace, and an open plan kitchen with marble benches.

The main bedroom boasts walk-in robes and full marble ensuite with terrace access.

A property conscious Port Melbourne local said the apartment was in an excellent location.

“You can’t get better than those views of the bay and it is also very private. It is a great area to live,” they said.

Martin has been recovering in Melbourne after a lacerated kidney, sustained in Richmond’s round 18 clash with the Brisbane Lions in Queensland, abruptly ended his 2021 season in July.

Martin spent nine days in a Gold Coast hospital after sustaining the injury."

So Dustys gunna live on Beaconsfield parade Port Melbourne, bet he’s wrapt the HUN have advertised this.

Dusty's obviously not very concerned about climate change.

He has dropped 8-10 kegs, while be interesting to see what weight he comes back at.

Will be super hard to put all of the weight on and do all the running. It’s actually impossible.

Might be a slightly different version of Dusty in 2022.

Unfortunately my source tells me Dusty is struggling a little.
Ended up losing 15kg and is slow in his recovery.
Think the severity of the injury has been downplayed a little

Would he really have lost 15kg?
I find that a bit hard to believe
Not saying it isnt a big issue or the club are downplaying though

Blood, Bladder and Bowel all get involved in a lacerated kidney story.
Basically the kidney can't do it's job on things like electrolyte balance, blood composition, waste management.
Weight loss is always going to happen. Dusty won't be near the same diet he was on prior.

I'm not doubting he lost significant weight....just query on the amount
I spent two weeks in a coma two years ago, immobilised, no food and pretty much no organ worked. I didn't lose 15.
What is Dusty? 90 or 95kg?...I dont reckon he has dropped to 75 or 80kg.
Not sure what my point is really only a query on the figures....

Not holding any hope they will find a gem with the 57 picks we have, just wait for the pre-season draft and the Rookie draft.
Thats where we excel
Agree. We should be looking to trade 7 and 15 for 8 x 5th round picks and 10 x 8 rookie draft picks. Pick our next premiership team in one year!
