Chins did alot of good for football in the '90's but the McGuire stench is becomming bad for football. Notice how he claims that 'football is a fragile ecology' whenever someone threatens to boycott the Footyshow (Kennett/Hawthorn) or channell 9 rights?
If Eddie and Ch 9 dissappeared tommorrow, I think we would still see the sun come up on Saturday morning and amazingly the league would still be there. He's got alot of people sucked in as to the extent of his power.

Heard on SEN this arvo that the umps had been cleared and the business man supporting Jones' story had disappeared overseas and was not contactable. His inability to provide evidence to the AFL investigation smells like a dead rat according to the guys on SEN.
Also the guy who rang MMM in support of Jones and claiming to have heard the comments also turns out to be a MMM and Channel 9 employee.
This smells like the biggest Channel 9 PR ratings exercise of all time.
