Vote for Flood
The Bummers web site (http://bombersfc.com.au/) has a poll asking supporters to vote on who should replace Robert Shaw as assistant coach. Sean Wellman and Matthew Knights 8) are out in front, with David Flood languishing at 2%.

While it would be good for Knights to get some valuable experience before his eventual return to Punt Road, I think it is our duty to ensure that we return the Scum's favour and send Flood back to Windy Hill.

Women's Networking Opportunity
I originally went to the Bombers web site to look for details about a Grand Final lunch they hold for women each year (it's on today). It's some sort of networking event enabling female professionals to get together, and I thought it was something the RFC could look at replicating to raise money for the club - maybe as a Brownlow preview on the Monday afternoon.

TBH, the club already has Hafey's Ambush (been going for nearly a decade I think) which is a women's networking club. They hold plenty of events though i haven't noticed much this year (maybe cos I'm not a woman). You'd find details on the RFC website I reckon, somewhere.
