I cant believe Baz spent the entire premiership preseason and season proper, calling the eventual premiership coach hopeless.

then we win the flag, he goes to ground for a month,

I thought "fair enough, good onya baz. do the crime (speak absolute *smile* on high repeat for 18 months), do the time (disappear)'

and then he reappears, within a month, sprouting the same stuff about how the coach is no good.

A premiership coach?

Premiership coach. astonishing.

I know everyones entitled to their opinion, but to say Dimmas no good, after we won our first flag in 37 years in an expanded comp, is Lord Monkton stuff, isnt it?

thats export grade delusion, isnt it?. Im actually a bit worried about him.

Thoughts?

I'm more concerned for those who continually want to goad and harass another poster. Strange way to get your jollies. Hard to deal with one problem when people actively go out of their way to poke the beast. Often with personal insults rather than discussing opinions. Nothing better than ignoring the elephant in the room. Dunno why a few don't try it.

goading and harrassing? Or pointing out when someone is wrong?

Baz presents an unequivocally wrong point of view (Dimmas no good), in a disrespectful manner (to Dimma), relentlessly.

In the interests of checks and balances, truth if you will, I'm prepared to call it for the rubbish that it is.

Or do you think if someone showers the forum with complete rubbish, we should all just go

'yeah'.

You dont really have a penchant for ignoring points of view you dont agree with Rosy, especially on the RRP board.

Is it just me think that Dimma is a genius coach and should be afforded the utmost respect, if not reverence, for delivering us Flag 11?

I don't think anyone has to ignore points of view. Not sure of your point about my lack of penchant. The forum is about discussing opinions. It's not about harassment and personal insults though and there have been plenty of those. Posts have been brought up just to stir and maybe even humiliate posters for their opinion. It's my biggest disappointment on here since out granny win that people want to stick it up others rather than enjoy the experience. Others have made similar comments.

I think you can enjoy the granny win (boy did I enjoy it, got a good natured police escort out of swan st. at 0500 on Sunday ;D)

and hold people to account for being horribly wrong, about that granny win, in their opinion and delivery.

Why not?

Unless calling someone deluded, or extremely wrong, are insults, I'm pretty sure ive never insulted Bazza.

Im pretty sure easy,t hasnt insulted anyone?

I could be wrong though

Rosy, you and I both know I can happily talk to myself for years ;D

Season 2017 went about as bad for Baz as you can get. Wrong is an inadequate word for his understanding of Dimma and his place in the history of the RFC. I'm not sure an adequate word exists?

I had a great season. Was pretty much right about Dimma, won heaps of dough, went to the prelim and granny with 3 generations of my family, continue to party at unprecedented levels, continue to

show due respect to our premiership coach, continue to be entirely optimistic about the RFC's next decade, all while seemingly only upsetting 1 (or 2?) people on PRE.

Im pretty content, even if no one ever reads :fing32

I hope I haven't destroyed your contentment Easy, I just read this.

On a side note, during the spring carnival, I enjoy reading the racing section of the Age after the races.

so anyway Mick, talking about Carlton Trolls, reminds me of a good story.

I know this family who were getting ready to leave for Round 1 this year, and this little kid comes out to his mum with a blue beanie on and a big smile

and goes 'look mum, I'm a carlton supporter!"

without drawing breath, mum whacks the kid on the ear, and goes

'THAT IS NOT FUNNY, go and tell your father what youve been doing'

sobbing, the kid walks off to his dad, whose got a chin full of shaving cream

Dad goes "what going on?"

and the kid takes a breath to steady the sobs and goes

"I put on a blue beanie and told mum I barracked for carlton, and she whacked me on the ear!'

and dad kicks the kid on the arse and goes

"you go and tell your grandad what youve been doing"

Wailing and rubbing his ear and his arse, the kid walks into his pops room.

Pop who is having some difficulty putting on his Michael Roach Duffle coat, sees the kid wailing and goes

"Stop sooking, weve got to get to the footy. what the hell's going on anyway?"

The kid blurts out between stilted gulps of air

"I said I barracked for carlton and mu mu mu mum whacked me on the ear and da da da da dad kicked me in the arse"

and Pop goes 'St.Francis help us kid? what have you got to say for yourself'

and the kid, all snot and tears and red ear, screams

"well, Ive only barracked for carlton for about 5 minutes, and I *smile*ing hate Richmond supporters already'
