EMERGENCY: What does this club really need?

What does the RFC really need to start winning? What do we need to become an actual contender and no longer a pretender?

I am so ashamed to see that clubs like Essendon and Carlton as well as Collingwood and Hawthorn becoming more respected and feared than us. We are the joke of the AFL and Richmond supporters are becoming sick of it.

So what do we need?

A certain player?
Better off field management?
A new coach?
A clear out of players?
What?

Umm, some fans who don't cry EMERGENCY after 3 games?

shouldn't that read

25 years and 3 games!!!!!!!

I think its time we can.

2003 (Hartigan, Roach, Jackson, Morrison, Fletcher, Archibald). :pullhair

I think you forgot a few blokes here who have done ok.

Tuck & Raines, brilliant strategy to hold off until #73 and #76 to make your best picks.

Tuck a best pick? He'll be lucky to hit a card board cut out of king kong.

The sins (2001 draft!) of the Frawley era will continue to haunt us until the younger guys get mature bodies.

true : we have lost a lot of experience since 2004 and only recruited 5 ready replacement players (simmo, Polak, Knoble, Kingsley, P.Bowden) and a talented cohort of kids who are yet to mature.

when the kids click we will go places

A few players with mental strength and self belief.
Way to many turtles in the side, they pull their heads in and try to hide in the dark when the pressure comes on.

although, now with the rules, I did notice a few players pull out of going for the bump because they would have either given away a free kick or been suspended possibly for a high hit...

game is SOOOFT

This may sound a little farfetched, but what would it cost us to get Jamie Charman down here? Lions have already got Wood, Leunberger and Macdonald, so it wouldnt hurt them as much.
