English Premier League threads [Merged]

Good win by the Reds 8-

Dominated the game (as usual)...think it was 734 passes...the most passes by Liverpool in its history.
So they are adapting to the tika-taka quite good and the young players coming through are looking the goods (Sterling, Suso, and now Wisdom)

For once though, we were clinical in front of goal and Suarez played a blinder.

So it turns out AVB is a more than adequate replacement for 'arry despite the doom and gloom of some on here.

We're not even a quarter through the season, far too early to call.

Time will tell. Still think the people at the club got it right given 'arry's outlandish behaviour.

It's looking that way. AVB got the squad younger, quicker and better built to play the pressing game.

COYS!! Huge week with Chelski, who look the goods. Hazard is the bizzo. Too bad they have a wife stealing racist as skipper. Scum.

Yeah Leysy was a doubter of dumping Harry. Good start, long season though.

For the Chelsea fans, how is young Victor Moses going? Was another product of leysy's clubs youth academy & development system. Hope he does well.

Shame we dont see the spoils but thats the nature where $$$ rule in English futbal.

Palace have another outstanding youngster in the wings Wilf Zaha. Absolute gun at 19. Has scored 4 in the past 2 games from a wing to lead an underesourced team to 4th on the Championship.

Luckily has signed a 5 year deal so the cheque book will at least need to be opened when the top-echelon Premiership clubs come running.

Read a bit about him yesterday - from an Arsenal perspective it said we're keeping a keen eye on him. Sounds like a great talent.

yeah pretty much agree. we're looking good at the moment, but we all know what happened last season. i was initially disappointed redknapp got the kyber, but our expectations are much higher these days and losing 3rd spot with a 10 pont lead is unacceptable.

Chelsea are finally recruiting the right type of players: young guns.

If he keeps rolling the way he is 8 mill is a steal. Hopefully get more than that.

Shame we'll have to sell, not right but thats the English game of the rich getting better unfortunately. Prob why leysy follows & had more fun following lower league clubs in his time there. Its where the true football fans at.

Hopefully if we does have to go we can at least get him loaned back.

It's gotta end.

very disappointed. great game to watch for the neutrals, but gee our passing game was off and and 3 shocking defensive errors cost us. we should have got more out of that game imo. both teams had many chances. credit to chelski, their finishing was much better than ours. haven't seen them play live all season, but they are a quality side that will be there at the business end. when assou-ekotto returns and vertonghen returns to CB, i hope caulker stays and gallas makes way.

Never a chance without Bale or Dembele.

we are a whole new unit with Hazard, Oscar and Mata hitting form. Much sharper and faster than we used to be. Chelsea are actually really exciting to watch now.

Spurs best up there offer if they are serious in getting Wilf across London.

Agree. Was a good effort to hit the lead. Lot of chances created but the back four looks very leaky.

Double Agree. Even getting rolled, I could enjoy how good a game that was. Would have suited Bale & Dembele. Wide open and pace. Still going all right the Spurs. The Chelsea chant of "What's the score Andre?" did make me chuckle.
