Need Gibbs back too, has flaws but better than Santos who's having a horror run.

Santos is too busy seeing what shirts he can get for his collection :hihi what the hell was that all about?

I was watching the game 'live' here at home and as soon as I saw it, I thought "Hmmm...don't think this guy has done himself a favour here"...and sure enough, its in the media and he's copping flak.

At least wait until you're off the pitch and in the tunnel, away from the public/cameras....but even then, he should be concentrating on the game and not thinking about collecting shirts.

As for Liverpool...another game of domination...and 2 points dropped ::)
World-class goal by Suarez but he desperately needs help.
Where Liverpool would be without Suarez:

The table is a little skewed though, as I am sure ManUtd would be pretty low on the table if you took out VanPursetrings goalsd/assists as well....but it does show how much we rely on him at the moment and that we definitely need reinforcements come January.

New show..."Strictly Suarez" 8-

Championship news - Good get by Palace to nab Holloway from Blackpool as their new boss - has plenty to work with.Mick McCarthy back in business taking over from Paul Jewell at Ipswich.

Good to see some Palace love on here MJ.

We are flying ATM. 5-0 last night to go top of the League. Was gutted when Freedman left last week but we landed on our feet with Holloway. Have some very very talented players.

Not going too bad considering we were 100/1 to win the League at start of season & got out to 750/1 after the first few games. :o

Need to be strong & keep our players come January.

C'mon lads keep it up.

Was a disgrace, just shows you the man's state of mind

Sorry, can’t get the quotinator working on the work pc.. As a neutral (Ram – Derby) I can only assume Freedman was turned by $$ (PL parachute no doubt) as Palace appear better prospects than Bolton & many others in the division otherwise. Shame, as he looked to building something out of the difficulties of the last season or 2 but Holloway’s a more than capable replacement.

Not sure what to make of my blokes. Good effort to date to be near the top 6 (good to be looking down on Forest & Leeds) atm but it’s early yet & the squad is thin. Would be nice to get some players of note in the January window but that doesn’t seem to be the way manager Clough wants (or is allowed) to operate. With crowds dipping a little (21-22k v 25k previous seasons) I think the fans would like to see some expression of ‘ambition’ (certainly approaching that shown by neighbours Leicester, Forest etc) to reignite spirits. That’s still a couple of months away though. For now, I’d be satisfied to consolidate a place in the top 10 with a view to a play-off push in the 2nd half of the season.

Too early to call any automatic promotion places but have noticed Middlesborough accumulating but seemingly flying under the radar. Interesting to see how Blackburn fare now that they’ve finally appointed a manager

Back to the PL, good opportunity for Everton to shore up a top 4 spot in the next couple of weeks with Arsenal & Spurs current stutters & a North London derby next weekend

For old mate Leysy.

Will look good as a Spur. The most exciting prospect to come out of England in a long while. Be intresting to see who he decides to rep at international level. Can go England or the Ivory Coast.

The tide has changed Scooper.

With him leading Palace to an unlikely run at the Premiership there's no way the club will sell in January. Potentially worth far more to keep him.

Will be a Palace player until at least the end of the season. & if promotion comes, probably after that.

Easier to keep kids like him, rather than have to sell Victor Moses, Nathaniel Clyne etc when Premiership football (hopefully) awaits.

We might not have any money, but have just about the best academy in England.

Good point by Liverpool considering the poor first half.

Played much better in the second half, especially after the goal.

Still not totally sold on Rodgers "passing and possession" play but willing to see how we go after the next transfer window when he will get a couple more players in that suit his system/style.

Not sure on Suarez's future though....he gave up possession of the ball by putting it in the net again... :scold :hihi

Has been added to the English squad Leysy.

How many players get picked from below the EPL to play for England? Can't be many.

PS: Special mention to Brad Jones too....man-of-the-match performance for Liverpool this morning and hasn't done much wrong while Reina has been out.

Possibility of replacing Schwarzer perhaps in the Socceroos team in the not too distant future?

Yeah --- I was never really convinced by Jones, but if he is stepping up at EPL level then he's doing all the right things.

Not EPL, but AFC Wimbledon to travel to Milton Keynes Franchise for the FA Cup second round meeting, the weekend 1/12/2012. An historic weekend in the life of AFC and one that will be bittersweet, no matter what happens.

COYD.

i'm starting to get worried about avb. he seems to get sucked in by outside influences. we hear all the talk about lloris not getting a game. then he plays. this week its been about adebayor. so he plays. we've played really well this year away from home by getting teams on the counter... so why play with 2 strikers? makes no sense. after the red card i knew we'd get smashed.
