You going Freezer? See its got a fair bit of news coverage, my mate was on Sky Sports talking up the game.

Is live on Foxtel - ESPN HD - here at 11:30pm. Regardless of result AFC have come a long way...

Not long home. Absolutely gutted. I hate sport sometimes.

Rafa :hihi Roman :hihi

Why Rafa would go to that club is beyond me :-X

I can see why Roman got him there (the Torres situation) but the fans never wanted him and the players I don't think want him either.

It was always going to end badly...

But but but you said he was a great manager and he would resurrect Torres career and ThePercies even reckoned Chelsea would win the league.

Gold.

Give him some time, Antman. I still believe he can turn things around for them. But if the players just play for themselves then what can you do? Some many massive egos in their best 11. Same said for manchester city.

It's a fair point Percies - I'm just poking fun at Liverpool flip-flopping. Before it was Rafa is a genius, now it's "It was always going to end badly".

Ehm...excuse me Antman, but no I didn't.

If I remember right, I actually agreed with you that Torres is not the player he used to be.

I also said that the reason Roman got Rafa was an attempt to try and resurrect Torres' (and hence, Chelsea's) season.

A silly attempt but one made in a desperate attempt to reunite Torres under Rafa to try and get some return on the 50-million quid investment he made.

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good Liverpool-bashing though :P

TL : DR but Liverpool bashing is my middle name

Who's flip-flopping now?
I guess you couldn't find the post where I said Rafa would resurrect Torres' career?
Bit hard to find something that never existed, I guess. :spin

Looks like your new middle name is "Sorry" :cutelaugh

Jog on then...

"Jog on?" You are about as English as you are Scouse. Did you pick that up from the Kop End forum?

From Urban Dictionary
Jog on
An insult, meaning '*smile* off'; from the British film "The Football Factory"

One of those great, frequently relevant one-liners. Now hijacked by chavs, making it sound less impressive than when it was only quoted by those who'd actually seen the movie.

If the shoe fits....

Anyways, we'll always have the time you said Rafa was a better manager than Ol' Whiskey Nose. Good times.

Stop your flip-flopping Antman...

....so where did I say this again??
Didn't happen.

Antman = :pinnochio

I think you've run your race Antman and will just ignore your comments from now on on this thread.

I'd rather chat/debate with people who are happy to give their opinions about the game and a bit of banter instead of just making sh!t up to just argue with me for the sake of it.

The Percies,
Its a hard one mate and not helped by the fact that the fans hated him before he even got the job.
He's on a hiding to nothing as even success will not keep him in the role, so I don't see the point...like, what desire would there be for Rafa to do well (or the players) when they both know he is only a temporary replacement?

So you are going to "ignore" my comments and yet respond to ThePercies comment on my behalf? You are profoundly confused Livers my friend.

Will be interesting to see who Rodgers uses as a striker this week with Suarez out and Borini still injured ???

Great to see Lucas make a return though to steel the midfield.
After playing more or less only half a game so far this season...comes straight back into the line-up and makes 8 more tackles than any other player in the Prem.League for the day...fantastic effort.
Allows Gerrard/Allen to push forward and support Suarez a bit.

West Ham away though without Suarez will be a test though...

Yeah, gutting result. Just watched it on replay.

Great goal though, although I thought the AFC fans were going to lose it big time. Gregory had a chance to pinch it on the 90m despite being on the backfoot most of the day. Really got excited towards the end; can't believe the increase in standard since I was there last year.

Still, they've come a long way in the past ten years.

Good to see Charlie on Sky News giving Winkleman a dose, not understanding "the linear nature of time...." :rofl
