All clubs have a proportion of fairweather and hardore supporters.  It really annoys me that we are falsly branded as having more of the former than anyone,  I reckon Essadon have the most.

Wrong. If you were being completely honest you'd know that Richmond easily has the most fair weather supporters.

After reading some of the 2006 Player and Coaching Dinner thread, I was reminded of the fact that the Essendon Football Club make me wanna puke. There was a " I hate Carlton..." thread a while ago, and that's all well and good, and we all hate Collingwood, yadda yadda....well I gotta tell you people, I am coming all the way from Tokyo with My Woman on our belated honeymoon to watch this match, and if we don't win it,...I think I'll just commit HARI BLOODY KIRI!!!! I hate Essendon. I hate that one of our greatest sons is now far more associated with them than us. I hate that they they became stronger as we became a shambles in the '80s. I hate the way they won a flag with a bunch of teenagers. I hate the way the recriuted champion after champoion while we recruited....well you know what we recruited. I hate their players. I hate James Hird. Don't care if he's a good player or not, I hate him. I hate the way we could never rise to the occasion and would routinely cop floggings from them. I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate their supporters. I mean I have never met ANYONE in BLACK AND RED I LIKED. EVER! Forget the Pies. These scumbags are the WORST! And now with the news that Bloody Sheedy put his arm around Wallace and ....well, just read that other ,ok. Win this game Richmond. And win it well. And rub it. Long and hard. Go Tiges.

Adelaide was added to the list because they were Adelaide. But really, when it comes down to it, Essendon supporters as a group are lower than snakes' arseholes. Traditional hatreds run the deepest. Just ask the Serbs and Croats.

Rubbish Y&B. ALL clubs have a bandwagon. coll ess carl have huge ones. Ours is big too, but after 23 years of *smile*, what would coll ess carl crowds and membership look like?

I used to go to Windy Hill with my Dad ("you either come with me, or you don't go to the footy") through the 70s and they were lucky to get 10,000 when they were a rabble.

Last night 58 thou at the G...conservatively 50:50 supporters of each club there for an ess home match ie Richmond members have to pay...
Where was the red and black army???
