Essendon will receive a good old fashioned hammering on Saturday.

The ones in bold are probably in there 22, but even then Myers is still a first year player. Add Lovett which they suspended themselves and that is 5. We are missing Thursfield, Richardson and Polak. Maybe that is only 3 but i would say those 3 are so much more important to us then those 4-5 are for Essendon

Add Cogs to your list and it makes 4 of our best 22 missing

Milton Berle, the worry will not cease now that you've posted that prediction. And here I was feeling brave about the game with a horrid pack of Essendon in-laws who need a good kick in the bum invading my sunny Darwin home at the moment!

Same here, dinner with my best mate and his wife, both bombers nuts.

If this goes south MB >:(

Seems too much like the Carlton game (and many others)

We need to win to have any hope of finals
Playing an old enemy
Prolly big crowd
Big names out for the opposition
We're firming in the betting
Most have predicted us to win
mb's kiss of death

In the recent past crunch games = loss

I still predict us by 30+ ;D

Look what happend to Kurt Tippet after Fletcher pantsed him :( Hopefully Cleve doesnt get Fletcher.

If Cleve is picked up by Dustbin then he simply has to play an unselfish role - Lead "Mr Accident" away from our other forwards. If Fletcher chooses not to go with him, then we hit Cleve up. Sounds good in theory ....

Really look at their injury list.

ESSENDON
Mal Michael (ribs) - test
Tom Hislop (groin) - assess
Heath Hocking (calf) - assess
Darcy Daniher (back) - 1 week
Courtenay Dempsey (leg) - 2 weeks
Bachar Houli (groin) - 2 weeks
Tayte Pears (hip) - 2 weeks
Jason Johnson (calf) - 3 weeks
Andrew Lee (shoulder) - 3 weeks
David Myers (foot) - 3 weeks
Mark McVeigh (knee) - 3-5 weeks

Alwyn Davey (knee) - season
Courtney Johns (knee) - season
Jason Winderlich (back) - season

Winderlich, Spike, Froggy, Houli and Dempsey are in our best 22.
You all saw what he was cappable of last year when he actually got a game.
Injury-free he is a treat to watch.

Sorry I havn’t seen much of the Bommers game this year, has Fletcher actually stating to shut down good opponents or he still continuing his grand career as the most overrated key defender in the AFL, building his reputation with a string of scalps from opposition 3rd option forwards?

No you are right Colonel but he does spoil & read the play better than Ryder, Lovett-Murray so would prefer him away from the play.

Their 2nd best player in mcveigh is out, so if we keep lucas under wraps, i can foresee a shellacking.
I'm putting my hard earned on a 8 goal plus win.

I think we'll win.
I love beating the Bombers, but at the stage we are at, it's not a given. Put in and it's all good.
Got told last week Tiges would lose to the West Coke because "no Richo, no Richmond" by a Bombers supporter at work. Shove it up em Tiges!!!
