If he goes Sydney definately become a lot better!!!
I bet Jolly will be absolutely spewing if Spida gets there!

If they want a ruckman so bad they can trade O'Keefe or Pick 19 down to Tigerland for Knobel or have Stafford back

Don't think Jolly would be too disappointd with that Premiership medal around his neck.  Everitt would simply be replacing Ball.
Give us Jolly. ;D

From the Hawks site:

Peter Everitt may desire a move to Sydney, but the Hawks have other ideas, reports Jake Niall.

SYDNEY has succeeded in persuading Peter "Spida" Everitt to abandon Hawthorn, but the more daunting task of securing the All-Australian big man in a trade remains ahead of the premiers.

IMO Knobel is a better player than Jolly ATM. With Jolly's hilarious lack of leg speed and leap that situation is unlikely to change.

Roos doesn't hink much of Jolly either. Don't listen to the words. Read the action for the truth.

Knobel is an adequate change ruck for a Premiership team in the current climate. When Simmonds reagins the full use of his foot and returns to his right playing weight we can decide if he completes a suitable ruck combo.

Sydenny is desperate for a ruckman. Why isn't StKilda?

They are not a happy lot at Hawthorn.  >:D
Interesting thought. I wonder how the young recruits are responding to all this?
Senior players like Spida and Hay deciding to leave. Crawford's future under intense speculation. Holland retires bitterly.
Not exactly what I'd call happy times.... ;D

Add Graham & his thoughts about how he was treated after so many years of service... difinitely not a happy lot.

I say better them than us. At least since the signing of Wallace it has calm the seas as Tigerland, but the backwash towards the Hawks is like a tsunami headed their way. ;D

I can understand Spidda jumping the sinking ship that is Hawthorn. Clarkson has shown no hint of sentiment or compassion for aging palyers and Spida is getting on. I think the Hawks would be gutted that this is the year that Spida wants to go, with no true super stars already pin pointed the Hawks may end up with a few picks but they aren't going to be able to find a clear cut top tier player with any high picks. They may end up with good players but unlike drafts of yester year there is not the superstar crop, just a lot of good solid AFL footballers in the making.

Does this have a huge effect on the PE outcome....hw may want to be talking pretty quick down at the club now...
