PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Geez he's good Wallet! Here he goes again this time re; Cam Howat. He was always the most likely player to be pumped up next with Cogs going down. Others to receive the royal (or should I say, Wallace ahem) treatment have been;
Cleve Hughes. Why? Answer- Because of all the conjecture about our recruitment style (mids over Kpps)
Krak. Why? Answer- Obviously needed some positive spin because of the impending court case
Richo. Why? Answer- The back spasm was obviously a concern
Browny. Why? Answer- The club needed something positive straight after Cogs injury and no better candidate than the proverbial match winner who had fallen on hard times.
Tambling. Why? Answer- Obviously the Franklin vs Tambling debate and probably to put him under the pump early. (footnote- Notice that Wallet hasn't talked up his Intraclub performance despite the fact that he really gunned it!) Great thinking!
Polak, Polak, Polak. Why? Answer- I'm not even touching this one as it is so bleeding obvious!!!
Knobel. Why? Answer- He's under enormous pressure IMHO.

Any suggestions for the next candidate? I throw one at you. Danny Meyer. Why? Answer- probably similar reasons to Trent Knobel. He is under pressure (more so than any of the Fab 5). Did anyone hear (or participate in) the bronx jeers/cheers in the 2nd quarter of the Intraclub match when he took a mark in the back pocket? He really seemed to pull his finger out after that. Was still disappointing in general though.

Anyway, I've had my 5am rant and I'm back off to bed. :spin
