After a very dissapointing start to the season, ive done enough posts for the night, so im going to rate the players for the year so far. Please give your opinion.
Nathan Foley - 7.5/10 - His put in all his got, his shown some good signs and i think he has easily been one of the best Tigers this year.
66 disposals, 8 marks, 11 tackles
Greg Tivendale - 7/10 - Been the biggest suprise for me with Foley. Been getting clerances, and has been a consistant player in the three games so far.
56 disposals, 14 marks, 7 tackles, 5 goals.
Jay Schulz - 6.5/10 - At the start of the year most people were saying this was his last year unless he performes, and he hasnt dissapointed.
30 disposals, 19 marks, 7 goals.
Brett Deledio - 6.5/10 - Has shown good signs. His using his pace well off the back flank, and his been getting the ball.
61 disposals, 12 marks, 3 tackles.
Chris Newman - 6.5/10 - Has come back strong after a broken leg. May play more midfield later on in the year but so far has been good down back
54 disposals, 19 marks, 8 tackles.
Matthew Richardson - 6/10 - This is a debatable one, as most will say no way at 6/10, but his got the ball, yes he has wasted some oppertunity, but his kicked 8 goals so far.
38 disposals, 25 marks, 8 goals, 7 behinds.
Adam Pattison - 5.5/10 - Had such a big task for him in the first 2 rounds, and showed his got something for the future for the tigers. Also has 12 tackles, second behind Tambling.
28 disposals, 24 hitouts, 12 tackles
Joel Bowden - 5.5/10 - Most seasons he would be up at the 7-8/10 range, but this year he has been a bit of a dissapointment, altho still has been in the top 10 for me.
51 disposals, 16 marks, 4 tackles.
Chris Hyde - 5.5/10 - Has been bagged by a few, but has had some great run through the middle of the ground. Also 2nd in marks behind Richardson.
47 disposals, 21 marks, 9 tackles.
Troy Simmonds - 5.5/10 - Cant really rate him, but after 1 game showed good signs and his 2006 form looks like it will carry into this year.
13 disposals, 20 hitouts, 7 marks.
Kane Johnson - 5/10 - The captain has had a poor year, but better than most other players. 2nd in disposals. Needs to be better.
64 disposals, 13 marks, 10 tackles.
Richard Tambling - 5/10 - Showed some great signs against the Pies, but first two games were a little bit dissapointing. Leading Tackles.
38 disposals, 14 marks, 14 tackles.
Graham Polak - 5/10 - Defensive efforts have been ok so far during the year, needs to become a key backman, we already have enough KKP down forward.
33 disposals, 12 marks, 14 hitouts.
Shane Tuck - 4.5/10 - Poor start to the year, is 4th in disposals, but in saying that most have been blind careless bombs out of the centre square.
56 disposals, 12 marks, 11 tackles.
Kayne Pettifer - 4.5/10 - Needs more of the ball, needs to put in a bit more effort. He can be a classy player i beleave, but hasnt shown that this year.
33 disposals, 9 marks, 5 goals, 1 behind.
Andrew Krackour - 4.5/10 - Shown some positive signs, but im still not convinced.
37 disposals, 11 tackles, 3 goals.
Andrew Raines - 4.5/10 - Has been quiet this year. Hasnt really been in the best in a game yet. Should find form tho very easily.
35 disposals, 7 marks, 9 tackles.
Darren *smile* - 4/10 - Defensive efforts have been good, has been getting the ball, but his disposal choice at times is just beyond me.
44 disposals, 14 marks, 7 tackles.
Dean Polo - 4/10 - Has done nothing for me this year, only averaging 11 disposals a game.
34 disposals, 11 marks, 9 tackles.
Luke McGuane - 4/10 - Will only get better every game, has been quiet this year, but can expect improvment.
29 disposals, 10 marks, 6 tackles.
Patrick Bowden - 3/10 - Had a shocker of a year, dropped for the Collingwood clash. May come back in for the Dogs game tho.
32 disposals, 13 marks, 2 tackles.
Kelvin Moore - 2.5/10 - Dont know what to say about Moore. Hasnt done it for me, and i would like him to go at seasons end.
22 disposals, 11 marks, 6 tackles.
Cam Howat - 2.5/10 - Poor Cam Howat, hasnt found that 2006 form, needs a couple of games in the Reserves.
30 disposals, 7 marks, 2 tackles.
And thats it. 30 minutes later and now i can finally go sit in bed and watch the Aussies!
