After watching the Greg Miller interview last night on channel 9 i have had enough of the running excuses.
Greg you are catching the illness that is richmond. Underachievers and a club full of excuses about why we havent been successful and why with each passing year, actually no each passing game the club from coach now to football director/recruiter of when we might see success.
What disturbs me more is Caro's assumption from sorces that there may be some player unrest , some ruffled feathers whose skin is discoloured because the club is looking at its youngsters to deliver success to the club, that the bowdens, richos , gaspers and johnsons of this club will not deliver us anything. Dosent this concern you?
Get on with the game guys abd show the young players the way because all i can see and hear is making me feel uneasy. If this isnt rectified i am afraid that the illness that is within this club will filter through to some promising kids we have and they will end up being the same under achieved list as the past and present has been.
Greg when you came you promised within 4 years something will happened. Five years on Greg and its looking like 2009 now 2011.
Terry came with a five year deal to build this club and list and three years in we look in some trouble at this early stage so far. I dont want Terry to try and sell to you or to us members that he will seek an extension of his lucrative contract to take him to 2020(joking 2011).

The reason for this Greg which you think we suppporters are stupid is that after the year we nake the prelim with Danny we thought that we needed just a top up of players discarded from others clubs to take that next step to the grand final when instead of recruiting the best kids and developing the list we went backwards hence the decline after that final series whichg resulted in a wooden spoon year.
I went to the family day and heard Terrys speach. He is a good salesman but like all salesman i hate them because i know what comes out of their mouths is crap. I like proof and i like results.
Stop the talk and start delivering.
And in finishing did anyone read Garry Lyons article in the sun? Look i know he deosnt think much of us but he shouldnt be sticking the boot into us as his beloved deemons are not doing better but at least they have seen some finals ala us. But what striked me was the fact that he states that the hawks have the better list than us , have recruited better than us and if Terry had his way(any coach in waiting and both jobs became available) he knows which club he would go to.
I cant argue with that at this stage of the season but if things dont pick up starting this week against the dogs we could be looking at a 0-8 start and another spoon.
Could we bear to hear any other excuse that "this is the season we had to have"
