I heard last night that Port only have 24 fit players to select from this week.  Could a case be made for extending the salary cap and adding a couple of extra players to the team lists?  Would it be too hard on the less affluent clubs?

Maybe the full complement of rookies/vets next year might make a difference.   Oh for the days of reserves where the club had more control over the non-senior player's careers, and of course the curtain raisers before the game too. 

As the Coodabeens would say Curtain Raisers.........BRING THEM BACK. :clap
 
Of course a benefit next year could be the addition of one older rookie to the lists if desired.  Might mean a player more ready to step up than some of the young kids who are rookied.
