My wallpaper is, and will remain, a picture of the Melbourne players singing the song after our one point win over Geelong at Skilled Stadium, thank you very much ;)

Newman is recognised as one of the best ruck coaches going around

By Who?????

Nice try interested, but remember Spud was here for years and you cannot hoodwink us. ;D ;D

Sammy. He played the game when......may have been good in his day, but he just turned 60.  The game has moved on.  You can have him.

Interested you need to get in touch with your inner self.  Let it go.  Like Phantoms friend you have jumped the fence.  Come out of the closet and confess

Your are a

TIGER

Now ;D

:gotigers  :emblem

I bet the words Yellow and Black are even ringing in your ears NOW. ;D

Sam Newman a great ruck coach?

I've watched too many games that the Tigers played against the Catters, in the 70s.
I know who the chief handbag carrier was, in the Geelong side.

Seemingly, with Newman as a ruck coach, it would be do as I say, not do as I do.

Geez cut it out Phantom. The poor guy is obviously struggling with inner Demons ;D and trying to justify his denial and you go and do this too him. :hihi

change the letter 'r' to the letter 'f'  and then I'll believe you. :hihi :hihi

300 games.
Club team of the century.
AFL hall of fame.
Yep gotta admit old Sammy was a dud player for just about the entirety of his career, at least with the list restrictions nowadays the duds get dumped after four or five years instead of seventeen.

But a great Ruck Coach. That is the question.

Come on Interested...we all know you're a Tiger at heart and you're DYING to sing the song out loud! Jump that fence! You'll feel sooooo much better afterwards. ;D :hearton

Exactly right come on Interested you wouldnt be the first i know 2 Deees supporters who have jumped ship with one following the tiggies and one following the doggies both are members of their new homes and are very happy spose its akin to coming out and letting the world know that you are who you are and are proud ;)
So just do it man. ;)

I have very little regard for anyone who jumps ship for no real reason.
Perhaps if a relative got recruited into another AFL team, or some other significant occurance, then it would be acceptable, however, just changing teams is not on in my opinion.

As for that LidsandBling - put your money into buying a membership for someone who can't afford it next year. There's a lot of real hard luck stories out there.

Come on Interested you have about 5000 reasons. All of them members of PRE who have welcomed you into our home. ;D Feel the warmth.

PS. I have a spare Tiger jumper I can send you. :hihi

I've already donated some money to the club, so perhaps a membership is just the next step... however, not this year, as I just can't afford it!

The true test will be after Richmond defeat the dees this year. When you think yourself "At least the the Tige's won" and aren't gutted that your #1 team lost, you'll be half way there.
