Family day ,anybody going??

Richo told a supporter that he couldn't allow them to take a photo and they should pay the $10 to get a photo. Then I saw Coughlan get lead around the back way. That was very disappointing and I haven't seen that happen before. I think they could of had both $10 for a photo and also be able to take your own photos. The lines were huge.
......

I wonder if the $10 photo thing is the players wanting a cut as part of their CBA or the club taking the opportunity to make a few more dollars?

My guess would be the club.

A smart move by the club imo, previous years had players swamped by massive lines and 20 kids in your face throwing things at the players to sign, then you had every man and his dog wanting photos and it would take ages to get in for a autograph.

Everytime I walked past the merchandise van there was big lines and people paying 100-200 dollars each a pop.

The club should of done very well out of today.

Good managment. :thumbsup

Loved the photos Feisty and Heather. Wanted to go today and take my 12 year old cos he needs a bigger footy jumper, but unfortunately got caught up with other committments.

Looks like Jells Park was a hit. Many tiger people live in the Eastern suburbs. I am one of those myself! Live very close to the Clokes, unfortunately. :hihi Though I wouldn't have minded Travis at the tiges. He's the ugliest, but the best player of the three I think. ;)

;Dsorry trying to add pictures from Jells Park but cant. anyhow it was a great day with a big crowd. I think the club was surprised by turnout

i notiiced from the pics all the boys wore the hummel polo. that polo rocks!!!

So true. I have loved it from the moment I saw it on Lids and Cogs a few months back.

i'll be wearing mine in exactly 12 days  :emblem

I was going to get the ladies polo today, but the queues were so huge I think I will get it at the Tiger shop. But good on you, and your not alone there were heaps of guys wearing them. They certainly are popular.

never visit the tieger den on game day or at an official function. way too packed.

I reckon the polo looks good as well, though for %^&$%%^ $77 it would bloody well want to!!

Took the family along today. Massive crowd; definitely a lot bigger than any at Punt Road I've been too. My little 6 month old had his first Tiger pick with Tambling, Rodan and Krakouer; good guys.

It wasn't too bad a day but found it a lot harder for the kids to get autographs, photos etc. But I'm not huge on waiting in queues ::)

I went too.....and for the first time in living memory didn't get hypothermia in the Eastern suburbs.Missed your ugly mug though Ridley, didn't think that was possible either :hihi
The lines for rides were so looooong,I wont be volunteering for Mr Mum jobs again too soon, although I've just converted one neice to tigerland from the abbostford sewer :clap
CC Tiger, you wouldn't be the owner of a Black perhaps VT (?) Commodore decked out in membership labels and a monster tiger tribe sticker down your back window?
If so I was parked next to you.
I also thought Gary March was a garbage speaker, and TW was a great (albeit spin doctor) professional the way he drummed up the boys.
Finally the showbags made the guys I took very excited too.

I have a few photos, I pretty much got every player receiving their jumper, as I said earlier I was not in a great spot (after I have seen other pics looking better) but if anyone wants a photo sent over to them, just PM me your email address and I can get sending. (P.S. I am at work so I might have a delay in checking).

Feisty.

I haven't seen a picture of our new recruit! She has blonde hair and wearing the Richmond jumper with black shorts. :clap

.....All the pictures of Cogs are less than impressive - his body language is not great....

As Mark's President I'd like to point out you can read whatever you like into body language. A lot of us remember clearly the day Cogs was drafted and people were posting on here that he looked close to tears when Richmond called his name out, and that he was shatterered to be coming here and would head back to Perth at the first available opportunity.

Actions speak far louder than images caught in a split second of time.

Mark is a passionate Tiger, as are all his family, who is very appreciative of the chance Richmond gave him and has always been determined to pay that faith back. :clap

I too went along with my wife and 2 small kids

Didn't stay very long as was a bit too much for my kids after a while, but we did have a fun family day. Weather was perfect.

I couldn't believe the crowd. I wasn't expecting the day to be anywhere near as big.

But it looked like a well run day and that most people were having a good time.

I guess being a family day, it seems like a good idea to take it into the suburbs. It was only about 15 mins from my house.

Well done all at the RFC.
