The AFL career of Jeff Farmer appears in serious doubt, with the controversial Fremantle forward to be questioned by police today over an incident at Burswood Casino last night.

Police are investigating Farmer amid allegations he damaged a car parked at the casino.

Police spokeswoman Ros Weatherall confirmed that Kensington detectives had received a complaint from the owner of the car this morning.

Ms Weatherall said police were not aware of what led to the incident but confirmed Farmer was the person being investigated.

She said the left wing mirror of the car was damaged about midnight last night and Burswood security became involved.

“He was being held by security over this incident but was let go,” Ms Weatherall said.
