I thought it would be interesting to do a couple of polls to see our favourite ways of keeping up to date with what's happening in the footy world....other than actually attending games of course.

On this poll you can vote twice...hopefully one for favourite newspaper and another for website.

I voted for Herald/Sun newspaper, mainly because I prefer the format, but I actually prefer realfooty website to the H/S website. H/S is too slow on my computer and I dislike their Bloggers' spamming on PRE. Very lazy work. I tend to like the articles better on realfooty. I'm a Caro fan and I love Martin Flanagan's writing.

However my second (website) vote isn't for realfooty. I voted, and here's a surprise, for for Unofficial Club forum (PRE). I like the different viewpoints, the inside scoops, news and goss and the comeraderie of sharing opinions with people who share the same passion no matter how we express it.

What is everyone elses' preferred newspaper and website of preference to keep track of the footy world?
 
PRE, of course. Insightful, passionate, occasionally clever, often funny....The only thing the mainstream media is any good at is being simultaneously both insipid and prone to hysterical hyperbol (quite a remarkable feat)...
 
I should probably have left the PRE option out due to a bit of bias here. Oh well we can cover preferences other than PRE in our comments I suppose.
 
I thought I had AFL site on the poll. Oh well it's there now. "Other" can cover the rest.
 
Three for me. I like Real Footy the best - better insight, there's just not enough articles. I go to the Herald Sun site too but probably spend most of my time right here on PRE. On the days the tigers are playing i'll generally buy both papers. And there's nothing better then buying the papers the day after a win!
