Which is your preferred radio station to listen to for overall football content?

I'm voting for 774. Miles ahead of the others for me. I love their broadcast and find the commentary paints a far better picture to visualise what's happening at a game if I can't be there. When watching a game live on telly I often listen to 774 commentary at the same time. I enjoy their talkback and I also enjoy the Coodabeens while travelling to the footy in the car. Comfy as old boots.
 
My hatred of advertisements means I can only listen to 774 and be happy.

Luckily 774 is quality (except when they compare Tambling to Rioli...).
 
Only option I've got here in Darwin is 774. Lucky I'm happy with it. Wondering if it's just me or if Drew Morphett is nowhere near as annoying as I used to find him.
 
Listening to footy on the radio is a last resort, and MMM best of a bad bunch.

During the week SEN but on game day its always 3AW.

I find that REx is a great caller, he captures the emotion of the game and I enjoy that the game is not taken too seriously and there is a bit of theatre.
Robert Walls and Tony Shaw are by a mile the best most analytical special comments people and there contribution is exceptional.
I cant stand bloody Caro on Sunday morning however, it isnt enough analysis and too much on the big stories. I much prefer SENs shows such as Crunchtime and the monday arvo show with Dermie to anything else.
 
Like AW except for Healy calling (although in fairness he is the Grybas fill in).

Like MMM when they shove Spud out the window

SEN have improved a lot with Eddie calling, but Ox and Dermie drive me batty

Only listen to 774 if I have absolutely no other option, worst call by far
 
I listen to SEN in the arvo for info. My general hatred of the Saints spills over into a dislike of Francis Leech, but at least it is consistent. I'm normally at the games if they are in Melbourne, and the delayed telecasts if they're not usually means I can't do the mute + radio thing too often. If I can it's MMM. I'm over REX these days and have to resist the urge to throw the wireless out the bloody window whenever Tony Shaw opens his pie-hole!

Rex has improved a bit. I was listening to 3aw while at the Footscray game.
 
must admit I love listening to AW over here. Has a bit of comedy and a bit of theatre.....love the Richo man call, that stirs me up......and when the Tiges are playing soft, unaccountable footy at least Rexy gives them a fair dinkum spray.....I know a lot on here bag the b'jaysus out of T Shaw and R Walls but I've always found them to be pretty close to the mark when they are discussing the Tiges.

I avoid MMM just in case that imposter Frawley is commentating.....listened to LO for the first time on Sunday and thought Drew Morphet was just ok, the D9 and Aussie Jones were ok too.

But AW all the way for me....
