Are you feeling sad and glum?

Disappointed by yet another failure to get 4 points on a weekend we deserved them?

Remember all those times you have been accused by Bombers supporters of being a part of a feral mob who always eat their own? Well wait until you see the happy happy joy joy feelings at Bomberland.

I don't care how bad your day is, if you cannot get a laugh out of the "sack Knights" threads, the "Bendigo are bastards" threads, or the "lets sack 90% of our list because they are all duds" threads, you just ain't trying. My personal favourite though are the conspiracy theories about why they are where they are :spin
 
Although I was a bit cheesed off after the gane,I walked home and thought to myself,"we are on the way",we have a hungry young list that is comming on fast, yes ok we shouldve beaten Footscray and Saints,but hey take your thoughts back a few yeaqrs and we were beibf hammered by 10 goals by these teams.....

The guys have an eagerbess and an urgency about their play over the last month and its due in no small part to Richo's play around the ground,he is a deadset legend....

ps: have you noticed how accurate his kicking has been since the move to the wing? No pressure now to kick a goal with every kick,he looks relaxed and confident in front of gaol now and it shows on the scoreboard.

The next 2- 3 years are gonna be huge for this club so hang tough,support the guys and yell like crazy.....

Hehe, they have their own Franklin vs Bling argument with Myers vs Palmer.
 
I don't stick the boot in just because another team is down - that's what we've been enduring all these years - but it's always good to see a team prop itself up on a pedestal before falling so dramatically down. These guys have had their 5th and 6th position finishes for so long now that they don't know any other way. Of course it is Knights' fault that he inherited a quite useless list of players. No patience to go through a few rough seasons, sieve out the best and worst, blood the youngsters and move forward. For a club having had such success with a long-term coach they appear pretty lacking in this patience. I don't understand this demand for instant success in a game like AFL, a game of cycles like no other. You get good draft picks, use them wisely, prosper, then it's your turn to dominate. Then, like West Coast and St. Kilda, blokes get old, fade, no youth coming through and you drop right back down again.

Snakes and ladders folks. On which point, let's not ourselves get too far ahead. The Tiges a replaying some great exciting tstuff these days. It won't all come together this season, but just wait for the next few to come around and wow! Can't wait. Big fan of Terry. He's going places...Frawley never had any direction.
 
I still remember walking out of the G when we beat them in Round 22, meaning we would face them in the finals the next week. Bombers fans we livid, screaming that Sheedy had deliberately lost the game, and it was a disgrace that ESSENDON could even pretend to lower its colours against a mob like ours.

This is one bunch of supporters (like the Blue baggers) I don't mind seeing taken down a notch or two.
 
And they have the cheek to call us Fickle feral supporters. Cop it Sweet :rofl
 
Essendon helps me understand the guilty pleasure of Schadenfreude.

I know it's wrong but I can't help but want to see them be on the bottom of the ladder for at least 15 years after all the grief their arrogant supporters have dished out in every environment.

Can see the positives with the Tiges, but want a win and with Geelong to come, isn't cheering me up. 2.5 wins, 5.5 losses will look crap for how well the team has played. The extra 6 points (4-4) with an average percentage and an easy run to come would have set us up with a chance for the 8. Now one slip and its another year without finals. Whilst I never expected us to make it this year, the problem with getting your hopes up, is there is a chance to be let down. Will give 'em until round 12 to see if they can start clicking through enough wins.

Also I am laughing even at work as a few Scumwood suckporters are suddenly not interested in football. !!! LOL

They're probably the same supporters who were talking TOP 4 after a couple of pre-season wins. ::)
