Fevola in trouble? [Merged]

Stood down from leadership group and $10,000 fine. Further incidents will see him sacked from the club

Carlton are getting tougher. When Pratt was fined he got to stay in the leadership group.

And *smile* Pratt has reportedly said that he will personally pay the fine on behalf of Brendan Fevola! ::) ::)

He thinks it harsh that Fev got fined for pissing on one business when he has pissed on most businesses for the past decade to the tune of millions of dollars.

they reckon if they ostracised him from the group it wouldn`t be the answer. :hihi
i guess they weren`t watching any AFL last year, ever heard of steve johnson!

they are going to address his alcohol problems now ::)
unbelievable they haven`t ever done it with him.

i`ve always hated carlton by i also respected them more than any club as well.

Care to explain why Carlton are weak Plapps?

They are pi$$ weak Rosie, because they allow this buffoon to keep carrying on like a tool, he knows he can get away with it, therefore he keeps re offending.

I wouldn't equate a DUI infringement with taking a leak.

What about Ottens and Campbell who were suspended for a week for just being drunk in public.

Do you think it would be very different if it was one of our players?
If one of our players kept re offending like Fev does, then I would expect our leadership group and coaches to take a tough stance, example would be to suspend the player for a couple of games at least, please refer to Steve Johnson.

its all smokes and mirrors....let them look after their own backyard...it sets a tone for their younger players to do as per the Fev as they know they will recieve a fine and slap on the wrist.... :police:

It's carlton's business how they run their club.

The only thing i am interested in is beating them on Thursday.

the rest is just a distraction.

I gather he wasn't suspended but nobody is saying what the outcome actually was.

It just goes to show both clubs (Tiges & Blooze) have set different standards. IIRC our last public incident involving one of our players was Jay and there hasn't been another one since - crossing my fingers. This Prickola was given too many chances, finally they have come to their senses and issued him with a final ultimatum, but this ain't good enough, the Blooze need to set a policy and that is any misdemeanors in the future for any player (apart from Fev) will incur an automatic suspension .

How many 'no more chances' can Fev get, it's laughable

The fine is gonna work a treat too, especially if *smile* (Pratt not Fev) pays it ::)

Andy Krak would be the last one wouldnt he?

If we beat them they will go into Tank mode and Fev will be out for 8 weeks for disciplinary reasons.

If they beat us he will keep playing until they launch into Tank mode after 4- 5 losses then he will be barred till seasons end for disciplinary reasons.
