Fev's

What's the big deal? He's far from home, in the land of the late night drinking session, he gets in a blue in a pub. Fair enough he shouldn't have done it and I'm sure he regrets it now, but I'm sure most of us have done something we wish we didn't in the cold light of day. Cut him some slack he's human. I don't think any less of him. He's a footy player not a high court judge.

Thank god we didn't get him!

You're disappointed we didnt get the best kick outside 50 and a fullforward who can and will kick 100 goals??? Im sure the blues fans will be hating him for this after he's kicked 90 goals this year in a crap side and probably a ton next year in a crap side. I wish we had him.  :'(

Here hear.
If we had of had him this year we would of made finals, instead we are relying on a perennial bottom of
the ladder bully in Richo!!!
Carlton should get rid of him immediately. Let us try and keep him on the straight and narrow. After all he wanted to be a Tiger anyway.

Fancy a footballer going to Ireland and getting into trouble for drinking and fighting. Bloody hell......... they are the two national sports of Ireland. With a name like Brendan what else did they expect?  It's all Sheedy's fault for leaving him out of the first match. No wonder we lost  :(

A little bit of trivia. Fevola wears jumper 25 and is 25 years old.

Saint Brendan of Ireland was a legendary Voyager. He has a cream liquer named after him, as well as a song by Canadian band called Lowest of the Low. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brendan

Brendan's Way

Our fortunes are fleeting
And our passage in steer
And God knows if I'll perish
In my twenty-fifth year

In this ship full of scurvy
With my bride at my hand
But I shall kiss her tenderly
In the great Newfoundland

And it's love / hope that we follow today
If we dare follow St. Brendan's way

Our fathers were tillers
And our mothers knew chance
And we've tasted hunger
In Ireland and France

And these seeds of misfortune
St. Bartholomew's Day
Shall be drowned in the new world
Chosen St. Brendan's way

There's a light shining on you tonight
A siren call, a harbour town... a northern light

A curse on the Union Jack
On its empire and lance
And I'll *smile* on the troubled head
Of king Charles of France

But that's all behind us now a thousand miles away
And nothing can match the beauty
In the sight of Gaspe

There's salt on your naked skin
And there's salt in my tears
And without you I'd pass away
Under these privateers

But that baby inside you
Is the work of our hand
A child of the revolution
And a free thinking man

Methinks Fevola was simply tracing his Irish roots ;)

I think the whole team should be sent home simply because the game is a heap of carp. Who is it supposed to appeal to?

Tired of commentators getting all rigid over the fights that break out during the game ( thinking of last year).

OOh the fighting Irish, the fighting Irish!!!

Spare us!

If anyone that didn't watch last years Telstra Doom performance, the paper had it described as a blood bath... :cutelaugh

what a joke. 1 high tackle and a bit of biffo that was hardly anything at all, a blood bath... give me a break. ::) :P

The Irish TV commentators were complaining last weekend about the game lacking passion. I seem to recall them saying it needed a bit of physical aggression to liven things up. A wee bit hypocritical?

Note that too Poppa, maybe we just need to turn the volume down ;)
