I hate them all, but I went with North because they are a battling Victorian club that just never quit.

Surprised so many people went with Sydney when they have been given so many concessions and propped up by the AFL for so long. Which is especially ironic when you consider that ordinarily in other facets of life, Sydney is always trying to reef something off Melbourne. But then again that's just possibly the anti- Sydney centric thing coming out in me. :hihi

And for what its worth, I hope, Adelaide, Geelong, Sydney and Port all get bundled out in straight sets.

gotto be the saints. the only victorian team with any hope. i'm sick of the interstate clubs coming in and winning flags after a few years after teams like st kilda, melbourne and geelong haven't won one in 40 years. it really drives me nuts. but if fiona is in the side i want theem to lose

Won't happen. That dud only got a game last week as they've got about 25 injuries If he keeps playing they won't win a game in the finals.

Maybe that's why he misses so many targets and has no awareness ? Maybe he's trying to play footy without letting his toupee fall off ? I guess I have some symptahy for him now. I mean fancy being bald at his age...and imagine how embarrassing it would be if his toupee fell off in front of 50,000 ? Geez.

Dad played for North back after WW2, was full back in the 1948 Under 19's premiership team.

I used to support them until I rebelled back in 1965.

A North flag would be good for the old man.

Agreed - I'd hate to see Geelong win it. I'd love to see Melbourne knock them out. Won't happen unfortunately.

I'd like to see the Dees win it but I think it will be another interstate GF with the Crows playing the Swans. In that case go the Swans.

It would finally mean an end is in sight to the concessions.

I find it hard to pick one that I'd be pleased to see win. I usually just wait till the game comes on and find myself barracking against the team I despise most.

Must say, I also consider who might be unbearable if they won. I quite like Geelong but half of my family would be unbearable. Anyway, I can't see it happening.

Think I end up siding with Rosy's theory that if Port, WCE or Adelaide (not the case with Sydney) win at least there's nobody around to hang sh!t on you. If it came down to an interstater v a Vic club, I'd probably sit across the border.

Then again, there's supporters of all types here in Darwin. Maybe I'll just sleep/drink/keep my eyes closed through September.
