Finals atmosphere has got the better of me [Merged]

Any Richmond supporter hoping they win a finals game is shameful.

At this stage, I personally have no real preference for the premiership, I just hope whoever wins this afternoon smashes the hell out of Collingwood in the prelim >

Hate Collingwood the most. Could never support them either. Hawthorn makes me sick, Geelong supporters are a pack of whingers. I'm the same, usually want an interstate side to win, as it doesn't affect me at all. Failing that. I'd say the Kangaroos. Most of their supporters that I know are pretty harmless.

Hi PREnders, I live in the Geelong area and I am telling you for free, I hope the Cats go straight out of the finals. The first nail in the coffin should be bashed in by the Northerners today and the final nail next week.

That's the only way to shut the locals up. If they win it's gonna be chaos here. You can't believe how they are gonna react. It's gonna be Ablett posters wall to wall for the next ten years.

i was born and bred in gelong and i`ve lived here most of my life and i hate them.

if you live in geelong and don`t barrack for them then you hate them.
which means at least half the town if not a bit more,because most of their members don`t actually live here.

the reason i hate them is because they only follow them when they are going well.
biggest bunch of bandwagon jumpers in australian sport without any shadow of a doubt.
plus the geelong addy pumps them up like you wouldn`t believe,they are one of the big problems.
joel selwood took up both front and back pages when he won the rising star the other day.
they were saying it is the first in a quadrella including the vfl premiership,AFL premiership and brownlow,they just can`t help themselves. :

i hope an interstate team wins it.

You want to get out of Geelong and get a taste of what other certain interstate teams are like. That is such a naive view if ive ever heard of one. By the way - what do you think would make big headlines in the Geelong Add - there isnt that much going on down there otherwise.

i have seen first hand for 30 years what geelong supporters are like.
that`s hardly naive!
why are you commenting on what geelong is like?

i know nothing about what interstate teams fans are like so that`s why i don`t mind if they win because it doesn`t affect me.
that`s the point i`m trying to make, i`d prefer an interstate team to win because i don`t live interstate therefore i don`t have to put up with their supporters.
no doubt if i did live interstate i would hate them the way i hate geelong.

but i don`t live interstate i live in geelong, that`s why i`m commenting on geelong.

so what do you know about geelong to be commenting on it?
