Just did the ladder predictor.

Richmond lose the next 2 matchs and win the last 4 and we are in the 8, one game clear of Fremantle and two games clear of Geelong. I
know in 2 weeks time everybody will be saying "season over" but winning our last 4 games in Melbourne will put us into the finals! Trust me!!!!!
where is the ladder predicter?

team structure was always going to make us struggle to make the 8. unless it improves i cant see us making the 8 next yr either or even the yr after. list deficiencies need to be addressed.

Nathan Brown said that he may play again this year because Richmond could still play in the finals. I agree with him.

Does anyone still think finals are possible?
Mathematically it's still possible but when people use the word "mathematically" in football it is usually not a good sign!

Anyway I just did the ladder predictor and finished with Richmond in 9th spot. Fremantle were equal with Richmond but had a much better % which put them into the 8.

Geelong's fixture is very hard. I had them only winning one more game for the year.

Tiger's goal is simple, it must be to win more games than they did in 2005!

the goal is and should have been all yr get as much game time into as many kids as we can.
the name of the game now is to make sure we dont win another game and finish 12th 13th and ensure a shot at a high quality kpp in the draft. something that is absolutely crucial to us going forward.

If we keep that plan, we should have better pick by 10pm next Saturday Night;
Can the Kangaroos & Port win any other games?

Why 'must' it be? Purely a matter of opinion as far as I'm concerned. The idea that we should try to win at all costs even when he finals are shot and our players are dropping like flies is a bizzare one to say the least? Personally I think there is nothing magical about scraping in for an extra victory compared to last year, especially as if it costs us positioning in this years draft (in fact it's counterproductive and irresponsibly short-sighted). Play the kids (the ones that are still left standing), try them out in various positions, but look at the last four games in developement terms and nothing else (God knows I hope we have the intelligence to do that).

kangas play hawks in 50 50 game they should win that one. hawks have 4 winnable games but will throw the lot to ensure a priority pick. port play wb coll ad and freo should lose the lot so 12th spot is the go.

Totally agree with you Claw, it is so encouraging seeing all these kids showing the more senior players how to get the footy & keep on working hard.
I see Laidley is saying a couple of the more experienced players in the Roo's, will probably go & have operations now & get them ready for next year. So by the look of that it will only be Brisbane that can overtake us by the end of the season. So I think it's time to throw caution to the wind, & put in players that are playing for their future such as Rodan, Roach & others on the fringe.
I would also like to see Cleve play out the rest of the season.

we will probably win the next 3 games, maybe the fourth against WCE too which would give us 12 wins and a really poor %

if that gets us in to the finals then someone above us will have to go very badly wrong

I wouldnt count the next 3 games as wins....what is that saying again..."dont count your chickens b4 they hatch".

With the way we are playing at the moment i would rate them all 50/50 games.

We will in no way make the finals...not a chance.

Im happy with our year so far and the kids that have come through....but i still think we have a while to go yet, atleat 2 - 3 years.
