I was reading an article somewhere about Hawthorn adn how they have employes an analyst for 3 years to help them with building their list.
In the article it stated that this analyst and Clarkson have given a few presentations to the board stating that there has been no team that has won a premiership with less that 12 a Grade player.
Interesting concept.....but they stated they have done analysis over the past 30 years - so a decent enough sample...the article then went on to say that the best chance to so this was from early in the draft.
If we take this then whcih of our players are A Grade.... how many have we got now?
OK - Lets take a stab....how do we rank this - an A Grade player in my view is a player that would walk into every other teams starting 22......OK I'll start.
1) M Richardson (42 in M. Sheehans top 50 - Tiges only entry)
2) J Bowden
3) N Brown - when fit
4) B Delidio - even on last year he would have a chance
5) S Tuck???
6) M Coughlan???
7) K Johnson????
