whipped bad
:cutelaugh

I can see a football code hierarchy developing based on where the players are migrating.

Irish come here - coz they can't make a living from their sport. Aussies go to America to make huge dollars for doing *smile*-all except kicking a smaller ball further than the other guys. It's all about the money for some. And others are just whipped. ;D

I'm not sure this is totally football related.Dew's girlfriend is living in the USA so maybe a good opportunity for him to try out as a punter & be with her.

He would be ideally suited for punting. It’s a position where all you do is 3 or 4 times a game you stand on the spot, have someone give you the ball and then kick the ball a long way....... Actually come to think of it that was pretty much his role for Port .

My son greatly laments the passing, out of AFL, of his favourite footballer of the last 5 years, Stuart Dew.

IMHO, an excellent junior who never quite recovered from the injury he received in 2003 that affected his mobility afterward.

Dew was in terrible shape this year and obviously found it rough with the speed of the game.

Dew came home on the same plane as me from the USA a few weeks ago, and I must say IMO he didn't look happy. He was with his Girlfriend and something just didn't seem right, maybe this was it.

Maybe he was looking back on his footy career and realised he played for Port
That would make me unhappy :hihi
