Feeling pretty down about today's game but not all that shocked. We've played two 2007 top 4 teams in the last two rounds and have been shown where we are at - low. Strangely enough, I feel I can almost see what Wallace is trying to do and thought we were involved in some attractive footy in the 2nd half. Problem is you can't take the first 60 mins off.
Anyway, my point is that I think we have a woeful record of kicking the first goal and winning the first quarter over the last 6-8 years. I'd love to know if anyone has any stats on this. I feel it's even worse than our overall winning %. Seems we are always pushing it uphill. While there are many problems, I think the way we start games is something we can actually do something about with the current personnel.
